Indie Film Company Sells Film on eBay

Lost Dogs Can be Yours If the Price is Right!

56k has decided to sell the distribution rights to their first feature length film Lost Dogs on eBay.com. The independent film scene has changed so much in the past 15 years. The festival circuit has become increasingly focused on showcasing projects with “known talent.” It makes sense, the more films shown at a festival that feature familiar faces, the more tickets will be sold, the more buzz that will be generated, and ultimately the festival makes more money. Let’s face it, if you’re not making money you’re not going to stay in business. Where does that leave the “true indies” though? We are bringing Lost Dogs directly to the market, bid away.

Lost Dogs tells the story of Scott Vance, a soon to be college grad that has been accepted to the graduate art program of his choice. Scott’s father has paid for his education though, and he has other plans for Scott. Scott is faced with the decision of making it on his own, or following his families wishes. Scott decides to do what most priveleged twentysomethings would do, and he makes every effort to avoid reality and all of his responsibilities. He turns to his friends, who are all to willing to let Scott wallow in self pity. Will Scott step up and decide his own future, or will he allow others to make his decisions for him?

This is a Red Band type trailer for sure, so if you’re easily offended, please refrain from watching the trailer.
